Video alerts for any movement such as wind gusts, rain, small animals, as well as, if a human activity were received. The number of “false alarms” rendered the system almost unusable. These inappropriate alerts often require that camera software reset, causing frustration and significant costs in terms of staff productivity.
The challenge for GlobaLogix was to eliminate false and trivial alerts, while remaining capable of alerting the client to the increased vandalism, copper theft, safety issues (a lone employee on-site), and operational problems.
