SCADA - Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems

Who you gonna’ call?

When a major US pipeline company found itself in charge of five separate processes under three different control systems, it realized its latest round of acquisitions presented some coordination issues. They needed to determine the best Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for their entire operation. The decision called for a thorough analysis, not only of their pipelines but also of the expectations of their varied operational profiles.

Talk To Someone Better

They called GlobaLogix because of our experience with several different platforms and our ability to understand the operational needs of our customers – without having a set bias for or against any one type of software.

We conducted hundreds of interview sessions, compiled thousands of responses, categorized issues and established a hierarchy of value that made clear the best choice.

But the client didn’t stop there. Recognizing our ability to advocate for the client and cut through organizational red tape, they asked GlobaLogix to provide both the project manager and the technical manager.

“Who would you call to help choose the best? Someone better, of course.”

Different Is Better

If you’re looking for better start first with different. In culture of professed accomplishment, we’re bombarded daily with messages of superiority that lack identifying substance. Regardless of how loudly you shout – shoppers, customers and purchasers won’t[…..]

Hyping Millennials

I’m about to scream if I read or hear another nonsensical diatribe of meaningless kerfuffle about how Millennials are generationally unique in human history. According to the ‘experts’ and pundits this group of young people see life from an entirely different historical perspective. Let’s see, they are smarter, more computer savvy, more collaborative and intrinsically[…..]
